Sheave Blocks
Sheave blocks are composed of crown block and movable block. Pulley blocks can achieve the purpose of saving effort and changing the direction of force. With sheave blocks, the wire can be directed in any direction when leaving the winch. Equipped with pulley blocks, mooring winches can provide maximum installation in limited space. As an important part of anchor mooring systems, the sheave wheel is made from high quality nodular iron and heat treatment for maximum wear life. Recessed into both side plates, outer diameters of the wheel can prevent rope from jamming the nearby plates and to reduce wire rope wear. The locking mechanism of sheave blocks is designed to have quick opening for rope insertion, which can insert or remove cotter pins or nuts in more safely and efficiently. Large throat openings with flared side plates allow square knots tied in rope to pass freely.
